Simplify interview scheduling with the Accept/Decline Interview feature
Going live on your JTGO platform during the week of 2nd December, we’re excited to introduce our Accept/Decline Interview feature for our JTGO clients. This enhancement makes managing interviews seamless and stress-free for both recruiters and candidates. With this feature, candidates can respond to interview invitations directly through the system, confirming their attendance or declining with ease.
This streamlined process reduces admin time, eliminates confusion and ensures clearer communication between you and your candidates.
We are pleased to share enhancements we’ve made to our candidate sites, designed to streamline the application process and provide a better experience for your candidates. These updates focus on improving navigation, offering clearer guidance and making the application process more intuitive.
Enhancements to the list of vacancies page
For candidates who are logged into the site, we’ve made it easier for them to stay on top of their applications from the list vacancies page:
Incomplete Applications: When logged in, candidates can see their application status directly on the job card. This status is now a clickable link, directing them to the specific page where they can complete any unfinished applications.
Improvements to the 'My Applications' page
We’ve reorganised ‘My Applications’ to ensure candidates can quickly identify applications that need their attention. Candidate applications will now display in the following order:
Incomplete applications will appear first
All other applications are then displayed based on the submission date, with the most recent appearing first.
Enhancements to the ‘Copy from a Previous Application’ feature
We’ve enhanced ‘Copy from a Previous Application’ to give candidates more control:
Candidates can now preview their previous applications before selecting one to copy from, enabling them to make more informed decisions.
If candidates initially choose not to copy from a previous application, they can now revisit this decision. From the ‘About You’ section, candidates can easily return to the ‘Copy from a Previous Application’ page and select an application to copy from, offering greater flexibility during the process.
Clearer navigation
To improve navigation for candidates, we have renamed ‘My Homepage’ to ‘My Applications’.
This adjustment makes it clearer to candidates where they can find their applications and ensures consistency throughout the interface.
Additionally, we’ve added a new ‘Supporting Documents’ header to the job advert page. Any supporting documents that have been uploaded will now be listed in this section, making it easier for candidates to access and view any additional documentation.
Improved password reset process
We’ve improved the password reset process with clearer instructions and guidance to create a smoother experience for candidates.
SEPTEMBER 2024
Within your JTGO platform, some of the automated actions and reports rely on core application statuses to ensure accuracy. We've therefore made some improvements to the way application statuses connect to these standard processes to help you track and report application processes more easily.
What do I need to do?
Nothing! This will simply update in the background – you do not need to make any changes.
What has changed?
Any application statuses linked to a core application status will now display with a red background. This highlights their importance in reporting and system actions.
There are also new fields to complete when adding a new application status:
Visibility
A new ‘Visible’ option allows you to easily show or hide Application Statuses. This feature is useful for managing the introduction of new statuses or phasing out outdated ones without disrupting reporting data. However, any statuses marked as 'Core Application Status' in System Customisation cannot be hidden.
Recruitment phase
A new mandatory field called Recruitment Phase has been introduced, which allocates each application status to a specific phase in the recruitment process. This helps identify where each candidate status fits within the overall recruitment process, particularly when custom or unusually labelled statuses are added
This field is mandatory for any new statuses created and all standard JTGO application statuses will be updated to reflect the standard recruitment phase, however you may wish to update any existing additional application statuses you have added to your JTGO platform with the relevant recruitment phase for consistency.
For ease, the list of Candidate Application Statuses in Settings can be filtered by Recruitment Phase.
Re-ordering Application Statuses
You can now change the order of the applications statuses if required. There is now a ‘Reorder Statuses’ option in the Application Statuses actions menu, which allows users to change the display order of the application status list.
FAQs (frequently asked questions)
Can I edit a status that is linked to a Core Application Status?
Yes, the labelling and other elements of the status can be edited, however it will permanently be linked to that core application status. If you need to completely change the purpose of the status, we recommend creating a new application status, rather than amending an existing one.
How do I delete an application status?
It isn’t possible for statuses to be removed in JTGO, however you can make statuses ‘not visible’ - this will prevent candidates being updated to this status in future.

Making status notes clearer
When notes have been added when a candidate’s status is changed, a new purple notepad icon will be display in the candidate’s history for easier identification of the notes.
Simplified navigation to job details and advert copy
From a candidate’s record, you can now click the Job Ref number. Clicking on this will open a new window to display essential job details, including the advert copy. We’ve made this change to help when you’re reviewing applications for easy comparison with the advert details.
When creating a new job, we’ve added an optional Recruiter field on the Job Details page. This allows you to choose a recruiter from your list of system users. You can choose which system users can be designated as a ‘Recruiter’ from the system user’s profile. Once this feature is enabled, it can be added as an additional column on the list of jobs page and searchable in the Search Jobs section. Plus, you can report on this field in our Advanced Insights reporting tool.
